We could no longer resist the siren call of the Eastside. Ruby Peak offered a short 2.5 mile approach, class 3-4 climbing to the summit, wonderful views of BCS, Humphreys and other beloved friends, with an optional 5.easy traverse to Mills. We were not climbing particularly strong that day, so we chose to skip the traverse and have some thanks.FUN on the summit instead. Hot day was hot, hence the pants-less pix on the approach.
